Report Intellectual Property Infringement

Askio is a platform where independent creators offer personalised video answers to questions. Askio is operated by Torion Holdings Ltd. We respect intellectual property rights and expect creators on Askio to do the same. If you believe content on Askio infringes your copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights, you can report it to us using the process below.

How to report

Email help@askio.app with the subject line "IP Report" and include the information listed below.

What to include in your report

  • Your details: full name, company (if any), email address, phone number, and your relationship to the rights holder (owner or authorised agent).
  • Rights holder: the name of the person or company that owns the intellectual property.
  • Type of IP: copyright, trademark, or other (please specify).
  • Description of your work or mark: what it is, and a registration number or a link to the original, if available.
  • Reported content on Askio: the URL of the creator's profile or answer, and a description of where and how the content appears.
  • Why you believe it infringes: a short explanation.
  • Statement of good faith: "I believe in good faith that the use described above is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law."
  • Statement of accuracy: "The information in this report is accurate, and I am the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf."
  • Signature and date.

What happens next

  1. Report. You email your report to help@askio.app with the information listed above.
  2. Acknowledgement and triage. We log each report and acknowledge it by email. We check that it identifies the content, the rights claimed and your contact details, and we may ask for missing information.
  3. Review. We review the reported content.
  4. Creator notice and response. Where appropriate, we notify the creator of the report and give them the opportunity to respond, including by disputing the report or providing evidence of permission or ownership.
  5. Decision and action. We decide based on the information available to us. Where a report is upheld, we may take appropriate action. We inform you of the outcome and, where we notified the creator, the creator.

Creator responsibilities

In Askio's Terms of Service (available from the site footer), creators agree to provide original content and to comply with all applicable laws.
